Rates

Translations are usually calculated based on the number of lines in the target text, i.e. the finished translation. The calculations are based on standard lines (one standard line consists of 55 key strokes, i.e. including spaces). The rate per standard line may vary, depending on the following factors:

>> VOLUME: Bigger volumes may result in a lower rate per line or a flat-rate may apply.
>> TECHNICALITY: More technical terms entail more research, which results in a higher rate per line.
>> URGENCY: For urgent translations (including night and weekend shifts) additional charges apply.
>> PURPOSE/TYPE OF TEXT: Type and purpose of a text are also factors determining the rate.
>> FORMAT: MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel are considered standard software. Other software is subject to surcharges.
